Iberia Conditions

We are pleased to inform you that, thanks to the collaboration agreement with Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, IBERIA offers flight discount vouchers to players enrolled in weekly programs at the Academy and to guests of the Rafa Nadal Residence.

 

WHAT IS THE PROMOTION

  

Junior & Adult Programmes:

 

  • 600 discount voucher on domestic flights for bookings originating in Spain and flights within Europe.
  • Discount voucher 1200€ on flights from the USA.

 

The discount voucher provided by IBERIA applies only to flights to Palma de Mallorca on routes operated by Iberia, Iberia Express, Vueling and Air Nostrum. This voucher must be used within 10 days of receipt (after which it will no longer be valid). 

 

WHO CAN ACCESS THE PROMOTION?

 

• Junior players (under 18) registered in a sports program of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar for a minimum of one week (7 nights) with accommodation at our facilities (players not staying at our facilities do not have access to the discount).

• Adult Guests (over 18) with a stay booked at Rafa Nadal Residence for at least one week (7 nights).

• The offer is personal and non-transferable, and only the holder of the reservation or the person registered in the sports program at Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar can benefit from it.

 

PROMOTION CONDITIONS

 

• The promotion is subject to availability and must coincide with the dates on which the stay at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar/Rafa Nadal Residence has been booked.

• The discount voucher will only be given to those who complete the form that will be received once the reservation has been confirmed, at the e-mail address used to make the reservation. The form must be completed within ten days of receipt.

• The discount voucher provided by IBERIA applies only to flights to Palma de Mallorca on routes operated by Iberia, Iberia Express, Vueling and Air Nostrum.

• The voucher must be used within ten days of receipt, after which it will no longer be valid.

• The discount voucher can be applied to only one booking.

• For confirmed bookings at the Rafa Nadal Residence (adults), one voucher per booking.

• For confirmed bookings at the Rafa Nadal Academy (juniors), one voucher per person (up to a maximum of 2 players per booking).

• Applies exclusively to IBERIA Basic and Optimum flight fares and TimeFlex in Vueling (always booking through the Iberia website).

• Applies only to bookings with the Early payment Flexible rate.

• Bookings made and paid after 23/02/2023.

• These conditions are valid for individual bookings. Contact groups@rafanadalacademy.com to consult the conditions for groups*.

*Group bookings are considered to include 8 or more junior players or 8 or more adult rooms at the Rafa Nadal Residence.

 

IN CASE OF CHANGE OF DATES OR CANCELLATION

 

• If you cancel your stay/participation in the program, your flights will be cancelled.

• The management of flights for reservations confirmed and paid for less than 7 days prior to arrival is not guaranteed in any way.

• IBERIA will respect the same conditions for cancellation of the reservation.

• If the cost of the flight is higher than the amount of the voucher, the client will have to pay the difference.

• If the cost of the flight is lower than the amount of the voucher, the client will not be able to use the remaining credit in future reservations.

 

DISCOUNTED FLIGHT BOOKING PROCESS

 

  • Once your reservation is confirmed you will receive an email from Rafa Nadal Academy with a form to be completed within 10 days. 
  • Once you have completed the form and paid for your reservation, you will receive an email from IBERIA, within 4/5 days, in which they will provide you with the corresponding discount code for booking flights on www.iberia.com (remember that you will only receive this email if your reservation has a minimum stay of 7 nights and complies with the conditions of the promotion). 
  • Once you have received the code, you will have to check www.iberia.com to see if IBERIA has routes that cover your travel needs to Palma de Mallorca.
  • If you find your route, you can book your flights online by applying the discount code before completing the purchase process.

The facilities of the Academy have been adapted to comply with the safety and hygiene protocols established by health authorities. Thanks to synergy with QuirónSalud (healthcare partner of the Academy) the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has been considered a success story by the press and international institutions, and an example of safety and trust thanks to its management during the health crisis caused by COVID-19.

 

It has also obtained the seal "Safe COVID-19 Protocol by Quirónsalud" issued by Applus +. This seal certifies the quality and efficiency of the Academy's work processes to guarantee the safety and well-being of all its players. We are very proud of our human team, which has obtained the experience and knowledge necessary to develop a protocol that guarantees a safe stay and sports practice in our facilities.

 

To guarantee a safe environment, all players and guests of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar must comply with the health measures approved by the Government of the Balearic Islands, which include restrictions on the entry of passengers to Mallorca.

 

The preventive measures associated with the current pandemic for our players enrolled in the Junior Programs will be confirmed by the Players Desk team before the arrival of the players and their families, according to the context upon arrival.

 

Below are some of the safety measures that have been implemented to prevent COVID-19 contagion:

 

  • The facilities of the Academy have been adapted to comply with the safety and hygiene protocols established by health authorities. Increased frequency of disinfection and general cleaning, limitation of capacity in communal areas and the design of circuits guaranteeing the minimum safe distance are some of the measures which make up the protocol which has already been successfully implemented.

 

  • Our team has received comprehensive training, allowing them to apply the protocols for safety and prevention of infection recommended in each area of action. They are also responsible for teaching young people, conveying the importance of respecting the stipulated measures to keep them and others healthy.

 

  • All our clients must respect the health measures implemented in the installation. Frequent disinfection of hands and the use of masks in areas where minimum safe distances cannot be guaranteed is obligatory.

 

  • At the Rafa Nadal Academy we have the collaboration of QuirónSalud, a medical centre of reference in Spain, for the implementation of health protocols and assistance for players who need to visit a medical specialist.

 

  • Over the last few months, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has been considered a success story by the press and international institutions, and an example of safety and trust. During the health crisis, the Academy established safety protocols which allowed the health of the 93 young people who were confined in its facilities to be safeguarded.
