The Rafa Nadal Academy continues to champion innovation and player health by signing a partnership agreement with Forma Health, a medical intelligence platform applied to sports that will optimize performance, prevent injuries, and improve individualized monitoring for athletes.

This alliance marks the consolidation of more than three years of collaboration between both entities. It will integrate technology into the Academy’s daily operations that combines data analysis with the medical expertise accumulated over four decades by Dr. Ángel Ruiz-Cotorro and his team, who have worked with some of the world’s best tennis players, including over fifty Top 10 professionals.

Through its technological platform, Forma Health will collect, organize, and interpret data for each player, sourced from both training sessions and various medical tests. This information will be analyzed using medical criteria, allowing for an individualized understanding of each athlete’s status and the adaptation of workloads to their specific needs, promoting safer and more efficient preparation.

Physical preparation is one of the fundamental pillars of the Rafa Nadal Academy methodology, which focuses on personalized training tailored to the characteristics and goals of each player. Its team of fitness trainers works in coordination with coaches and sports medicine professionals to optimize performance, prevent injuries, and foster the comprehensive development of athletes. The incorporation of Forma Health will reinforce this model through individualized monitoring based on objective data and medical criteria.
