The Rafa Nadal Academy enjoyed an unforgettable day celebrating its 10th Anniversary in Manacor, culminating in Team Rafa’s victory at the Rafa Nadal Academy Slam.

The excitement continued right until the very end. After the six matches, Team Rafa and Team Murray were tied at 3-3, sending the contest into a decisive tie-break, which was ultimately won by the team captained by Rafa Nadal.
Beyond the result, the fans who packed the Academy’s center court were once again able to enjoy seeing Rafa on court, accompanied by several of the players with whom he shared one of the most brilliant eras in the history of the sport. Team Rafa, captained by Nadal and featuring Carlos Moyà, David Ferrer, and Richard Gasquet, faced off against Team Murray, led by Andy Murray and composed of Marat Safin, Dominic Thiem, and Fabio Fognini.
The celebration also provided an opportunity to look back and remember the journey since that October 19, 2016, when the Rafa Nadal Academy officially opened its doors in an event that featured, among other guests, Roger Federer. Ten years later, the project has established itself as an international center for sports and academic training and has expanded its methodology worldwide. Currently, the project has a presence in Kuwait, Costa Mujeres, Punta Cana, Greece, Egypt, Marbella, and Hong Kong, which will be joined by Brazil in 2027 and Lombok (Indonesia) in 2028.
The Rafa Nadal Academy Slam was the centerpiece of a day designed to celebrate ten years of tennis, training, and values. And it did so by leaving a particularly symbolic image: Rafa Nadal once again with a racket in hand, competing in Manacor and sharing the court with some of the players who have been part of his history and with different generations of tennis talent.
But the celebration did not end with the final point. Following the exhibition, the crowd that filled the stands of the Rafa Nadal Academy’s center court enjoyed a performance by David Bisbal, who provided the musical finale to a historic day in which the Academy celebrated its first ten years in grand fashion.
