During the visit, the team had the opportunity to see first-hand the work led by Head Coach Tomás Prieto, as well as to tour facilities that stand out for their quality and high-performance approach. The professionalism of the coaching staff and the impressive progress of the young players left a strong impression on the Mallorcan delegation.
“It was a very special visit. It is always inspiring to see how the same values we promote at the Rafa Nadal Academy are reflected in our international centers. The facilities are spectacular, and Tomás and the entire team are doing an excellent job,” said Maribel Nadal.
This gathering, hosted primarily by Dr. Tamer Tammam, Chairman of the school, and Noha Saad, Executive Board Member of New Era Education, also served to strengthen the collaboration between the Rafa Nadal Academy and the Cairo program, ensuring that all students continue to receive the same training methodology and holistic education that define the Academy in Mallorca.

The Rafa Nadal Tennis Programme at Uppingham Cairo is part of the international network of centers linked to the Rafa Nadal Academy, a structure that has continued to grow significantly in recent years.
Both this programme and the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centers were created as a complementary line to the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar in Mallorca. In addition to Egypt, the Academy’s international network now includes centers in Kuwait, Costa Mujeres (Mexico), Sani (Greece), Hong Kong, Marbella, and Punta Cana.
