RNA Editorial.
After becoming one of the benchmark teams of the Hexagon Cup and reaching the finals in 2024 and 2025, the Rafa Nadal Academy Team by Cox will once again fight to be at the top of the innovative team tournament, which will celebrate its third edition from January 28 to February 1, 2026.

Once again, the RNA Team’s women’s pair will be made up of Martita Ortega and Gemma Triay, the only duo capable of winning all four of their matches in the last edition. In 2026, both will once again be one of the fundamental pillars of the team.
For its part, the men’s pair will feature Franco Stupaczuk for the third year, who this year will be accompanied by Pablo Cardona, the team’s big new addition in 2026. Cardona, who has emerged as one of the great promises of world padel, has distinguished himself by his power, which led him in 2024 to achieve the record of adding 30 winning smashes in a single match.
In the Next Gen format, the pair that will represent the Rafa Nadal Academy will be the one formed by Enzo Jensen and Ramiro Valenzuela. In addition, Rodrigo Ovide, head of methodology at the Rafa Nadal Academy, and Carlos Pozzoni will once again lead a team from the bench that aspires to the highest level.
One of the great attractions of the Hexagon Cup 2026 will be the venue, as this year the competition will be held in the Caja Mágica, a stage in which Rafa Nadal has thrilled Spanish fans on numerous occasions and where he won four titles of the Mutua Madrid Open, in addition to signing epic victories representing Spain, as in the 2019 Davis Cup.
For this year, the Rafa Nadal Academy Team will have the main sponsorship of Cox, a Spanish multinational committed to sustainability, innovation and the generation of positive impact. Maribel Nadal, deputy general director of the Rafa Nadal Academy, has been very happy with the alliance: “We are very happy to have Cox in this project. Last year we started an important alliance and its incorporation as the main sponsor of the team reinforces our project in the Hexagon Cup, a competition that we love and to which we will go with the spirit of aiming for the highest level. We have a very committed, excited and motivated team that has proven to be able to perform at a great level. The Caja Mágica brings us great memories and I am already tremendously eager to return.”

For his part, Enrique Riquelme, executive president of Cox, has explained the reason for amplifying this synergy: “We are driven by the passion to take on challenges and turn them into opportunities for improvement for our environment. For this, we believe that the way is to generate synergies with those entities with which we share vision and values. Cox, like the Rafa Nadal Academy, carries the flag for sustainability, innovation, transparency, honesty, overcoming challenges and talent. Surely together we will do important things in the Hexagon Cup.”
The Rafa Nadal Academy Team by Cox will have as rivals in this edition of the Hexagon Cup Robert Lewandowski (RL9 Team), Andy Murray (AD/vantage Team), Eva Longoria (Eleven Eleven), Team Bella Puerto Rico, Team Hexagon Cup, Kun Agüero (Krü Padel) and Pierre Gasly (10 Padel Team) during four vibrant days that will decide which teams access the finals on Sunday, February 1.
Known for training world-class tennis players since its opening in 2016 in Manacor, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has also opted for padel thanks to the development of training programs for young people and adults in state-of-the-art facilities with nine outdoor and ten indoor courts. Its fitness center, its pioneering health and wellness spaces, its wide range of restaurants and its modern residence mean that the Rafa Nadal Academy has become one of the ideal places to practice paddle tennis. All of this has created a perfect environment for the development of young talents and adults who wish to live a unique experience in an ideal habitat for sports practice.
