Following the success of its first year, the second edition of the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group was officially launched today. This innovative amateur padel circuit, promoted by the Rafa Nadal Academy, combines sport, leisure, fun, and values.

At an event held at the Mad4Padel Club in Pozuelo (Madrid), it was announced that this circuit, which brought together more than 1,000 players last year, will increase the number of events in Spain to eight and will expand to Italy with a six-event circuit . Both circuits will converge in the final event, which will be held in December at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca.
Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Manager of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, chaired the event: “We are very satisfied with the results of the first edition. Player satisfaction was very important to us, and the feedback we received has been very positive. Now the goal is to continue growing and establish ourselves as one of the padel tournaments no one wants to miss. We are also very excited to be coming to Italy, a country where padel has grown significantly in recent years.”
The event, which included a small team tournament, was attended by journalists and former footballers who competed in an entertaining morning of padel. The awards ceremony was presided over by the mayor of Pozuelo, Paloma Tejero, and the sports councilor, Luis Magide. Gemma Triay, the academy’s ambassador, and Rodrigo Ovide , coach and head of padel methodology at the Rafa Nadal Academy, also attended the presentation.
As Maribel Nadal herself explained, this year the tour will have one more round, visiting Santander, Madrid, Barcelona, Estepona, Seville, Valencia, and Gijón before arriving in Manacor. The Italian circuit, which will also conclude in Mallorca, will also stop in Rome, Turin, Perugia, Bari, Bergamo, and Florence.
Inspired by the team competition promoted by the Hexagon Cup, each team participating in the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group events in both Spain and Italy will be composed of a minimum of six players who will form three pairs in each heat. Each event will guarantee that each team will compete in a minimum of two heats. In each of the eight events, there will be two men’s categories (Viper, high level, and Veron, medium level) and two women’s categories (Energy, high level, and Stima, medium level), in which teams will attempt to win the title in their city and enter the draw for a spot in the final event in Mallorca.
A clear example of its success is that, in just one year of existence, the Rafa Nadal Padel Tour by The Adecco Group has been a candidate for the award for best amateur circuit of the year at the “World Padel Awards,” organized annually by Pádel Spain.
Known for its prestige in training young tennis players since its opening in 2016, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has also invested in padel tennis, developing training programs for both youth and adults at state-of-the-art facilities featuring nine outdoor courts and seven indoor courts. The academy recently participated in the second edition of the Hexagon Cup with the Rafa Nadal Academy Team Powered by Richard Mille, reaching the final. In fact, the winners of each of these amateur circuit events will receive, among other prizes, tickets to the 2026 Hexagon Cup.
At the event, Maribel Nadal once again highlighted the role of The Adecco Group, emphasizing the value of BABOLAT (Official Racquet), QUIRÓNSALUD (Healthcare Partner), NDL Pro-Health (Food Supplements), and COX (Renewable Energy), which play a key role in each of the events by implementing challenges, offers, raffles, activations, and Welcome Packs that provide added incentive for each player. In addition, HELIOCARE has become the main sponsor of the Italian Tour.
The second edition of the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group will continue to showcase the academy’s values, methodology, and DNA in the amateur padel world thanks to a groundbreaking circuit that’s here to stay.
