The Rafa Nadal Academy has taken another step in its international growth with the announcement of a new Rafa Nadal Tennis Center in Turks and Caicos, one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive tourist destinations.

The project, which is scheduled to be inaugurated in October 2027, will form part of the St. Regis Resort & Residences Turks and Caicos, integrating the Academy experience and sporting methodology with a hotel and residential development located in Grace Bay, on the island of Providenciales.

The collaboration marks a new step in the Rafa Nadal Academy’s international growth strategy, based on alliances with leading members of the tourist, hotel and residential sectors. Bringing the sports project to the St. Regis Turks and Caicos Project will allow both brands to combine international positioning with the offer of an experience that brings together sport, wellbeing, and premium hospitality in luxury surroundings.

The new Rafa Nadal Tennis Center Turks and Caicos will boast three outdoor hard-court tennis courts, two pickleball courts and a padel court, as well as a shop with branded merchandising, a reception, and locker rooms. Its program will be based on the training methodology developed by Rafa Nadal and his coaching team in Manacor, adapted to a holiday setting and tailored to players of different ages and abilities.

Sport, tourism and high-end hospitality

La llegada de la Rafa Nadal Academy a Turks and Caicos responde a la creciente importancia de las experiencias deportivas y de bienestar como elementos diferenciales en la oferta turística y residencial de alta gama.

In this context, the collaboration will allow guests and residents to enjoy a sporting experience associated with one of the most iconic brands in the world of tennis, complementing the complex’s leisure and wellness offerings, which include exclusive services and first-class cuisine.

The model constitutes one of the pillars of the Rafa Nadal Academy’s international expansion, which is taking its methodology and values to leading tourist destinations through international centers, establishing ties with premium hotel operators and real estate promoters.

An international network in full expansion

The new center in Turks and Caicos is part of the Rafa Nadal Academy’s international expansion, which has been in the works ever since the inauguration of its main headquarters in Manacor in 2016.

The expansion began in 2019 with the opening of the first Rafa Nadal Tennis Centers in Costa Mujeres (Mexico), within the Grand Palladium and TRS Coral complex, and at Sani Resort (Greece). The institution later opened the Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait in 2020 and expanded its presence with new projects in Hong Kong, Marbella and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), in addition to a Rafa Nadal Tennis Program in Egypt.

This network will soon be joined by the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center Bahrain, set to open by the end of 2027, as well as future centers in Brazil and Lombok (Indonesia), scheduled for 2028.

After celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2026, the Rafa Nadal Academy continues to drive a new phase of international growth, consolidating a model that combines sporting excellence and tourism through alliances with leading international brands.
