Alexander Zverev has once again chosen the Rafa Nadal Academy this summer as his training base to prepare for one of the most important moments of the season: the North American hard-court swing and especially the US Open.

The recent Roland Garros champion and Wimbledon finalist has completed ten days of work at the Academy’s facilities in Mallorca, where he has fine-tuned his preparation before traveling to Canada and the United States to face the decisive stretch of the season. “I love Mallorca. Especially in summer, it is a perfect place to prepare for this part of the season. It’s very hot here, conditions very similar to those we will find in North America, and the facilities are incredible. It is undoubtedly one of the best academies in the world and, furthermore, I can train with peace and privacy, something I value very much,” the German tennis player stated.

During his preparation, Zverev also had the presence of Toni Nadal in many of his training sessions. “It’s a great help. Toni spends a lot of time with us on the court and Rafa also came by a couple of times. It’s always very interesting to hear their opinion on my game. I’ve been playing against Rafa for ten years and knowing his point of view, both on what I do well and what I can still improve, is very valuable. I still want to improve every day, so having them around has been a great help,” he said.

This is not the first time Zverev has chosen the Rafa Nadal Academy to prepare for the American swing. The German tennis player already completed a training camp in Manacor last summer before heading to the United States, thus consolidating a relationship of trust with the Academy’s facilities and team.

The German reflected on his season with the Rafa Nadal Academy media. “It has been a good year, but the season is not over yet. Now comes the North American swing, two very important Masters 1000s and a Grand Slam. I am here to prepare for that challenge and I hope to show my best tennis there.”

Alexander Zverev joins the long list of professional players who, throughout the year, choose the Rafa Nadal Academy for their training camps. This trust consolidates the Manacor center as one of the world’s leading benchmarks for elite tennis training, thanks to top-level facilities and an ideal environment to prepare for the most demanding events on the international calendar.
