The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar received the 2024 International Projection Award at an event held this Monday, November 12th, by Capital Magazine at the Ritz Hotel in Madrid. This award, accepted by Amalia Riera, Director of Operations for the International Expansion Department, recognizes the academy’s notable global impact on the development of young tennis talents, positioning it as a world-class institution. Also present at the event was Joan Saubich, Commercial Director of the academy’s international projects.

Founded by Rafael Nadal, the academy combines elite sports training with a comprehensive academic education, promoting the personal and professional development of its students. Its innovative and  Their commitment to excellence has attracted athletes of numerous nationalities, fostering a multicultural environment that enriches the training experience.

In addition to its outstanding work in sports, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has contributed to the well-being of local communities and environmental protection. In addition to the Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait, which opened in 2020, the opening of the so-called “Rafa Nadal Tennis Centers” in locations such as Greece, Mexico (Costa Mujeres), and Hong Kong has played a significant role in its international expansion. The “Rafa Nadal Tennis Program” has also been implemented in Mexico, and the upcoming opening of a “Rafa Nadal Sports Center” in Albania has been announced.
