With the new Weekend program, players from 11 to 18 years old will have the opportunity to learn about the Academy's methodology, train with players from all over the world and discover the best facilities for the development of young tennis players.

The Weekend Junior program will work on the main technical aspects of the game: baseline hits, attack and defense hits, net hits and serves. Real competition situations will be created to work on tactical and strategic aspects. There will also be a physical preparation session so that participants can learn how we work at the Academy to enhance the performance of our players. Our coaches carry out a level test on all the players at the beginning of the program to assign them a training group according to their level of play.

This program lasts 2 days (2 nights stay), with entry on Friday and departure on Sunday. On Saturday there are 4 hours of tennis and 1 hour of physical preparation and on Sunday 2 hours of tennis.

The Academy facilities have been conditioned to comply with the safety and hygiene protocols established by the health authorities. Thanks to the synergy with Quirónsalud (health partner of the Academy), the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has been considered by the press and by international institutions as a success story and as an example in terms of the level of trust and security, thanks to its management through the health crisis caused by COVID19.

It has also obtained the "Safe COVID-19 Protocol by Quirónsalud" seal issued by Applus +. This seal certifies the quality and efficiency of the Academy's work processes to guarantee the safety and well-being of all its players. We are very proud of our human team, which has obtained the experience and knowledge necessary to develop a protocol that guarantees to stay and train safely in our facilities.

To guarantee a safe environment, all players and guests of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar must comply with the health measures approved by the Government of the Balearic Islands, which include restrictions on the entry of passengers to Mallorca.

Additionally, the children enrolled in any of our Junior Programs (Boarding and No Boarding) will undergo an Antigen Test before the start of the program (Monday) in order to guarantee a safe coexistence in the Academy. The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar will cover the entire cost of these tests.
