New York and Flushing Meadows<\/em> are preparing for the final Grand Slam of the season, where the Rafa Nadal Academy will be well represented with fourteen players on the courts of the New York tournament.<\/p>\n\n

The academy’s top player will once again be Casper Ruud<\/strong> , a finalist at this tournament in 2022 who won the first Masters 1000 of his career in 2025: the Mutua Madrid Open. Jaume Munar<\/strong> will also be looking to shine in the men’s draw, having had his best season ever thanks to brilliant results including the third round of last year’s Wimbledon tournament and the semi-finals in Dallas (ATP500) and Hong Kong (ATP250), which have lifted him to number 48 in the ATP rankings. <\/p>\n\n

One of the season’s most dazzling performances has been that of Solana Sierra<\/strong> , who reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon from the qualifying round. She eventually lost to Germany’s Laura Siegemund, but her performance in London is, to date, one of the most notable of the season for Argentine tennis. <\/p>\n\n

Also returning to the top of her game will be Alexandra Eala<\/strong> , the 2022 junior winner of the tournament, who will make history by becoming the first woman from the Philippines to reach the US Open main draw. Eala had already been on the verge of making it to the main draw through qualifying, but was eliminated in the final round by Elena-Gabriela Ruse. <\/p>\n\n

Alina Korneeva,<\/strong> meanwhile, will be playing her first time at the American tournament in qualifying. Last year, she reached the main draw of the Australian Open, where she reached the second round. <\/p>\n\n

Also in the qualifying rounds will have to earn their place in the main draw: Coleman Wong<\/strong> and another junior winner of this tournament: Mart\u00edn Landaluce<\/strong> , the 2022 champion, who in 2025 already knows what it’s like to be in the main draw of a major. He did so at the Australian Open, where he was able to advance through the qualifying rounds. <\/p>\n\n

As for the US Open juniors, the Rafa Nadal Academy will be represented by Ivan Ivanov<\/strong> , this year’s Wimbledon champion, Max Exsted<\/strong> , Timofei Derepasko<\/strong> , Alejandro Arcila<\/strong> , Elizara Yaneva<\/strong> , Mika Buchnik<\/strong> and Maaya Rajeshwaran Revath<\/strong> i.<\/p>\n\n

The last Junior Grand Slam of the season is the tournament that has brought the most success to the Rafa Nadal Academy players, with three individual triumphs: Daniel Rinc\u00f3n (2021), Alexandra Eala (2022) and Mart\u00edn Landaluce (2022).<\/p>\n\n
