The young talent trained at the <strong>Rafa Nadal Academy<\/strong> had an immaculate US Open, not dropping a set and defeating third-seeded Czech <strong>Lucie Havl\u00ed\u010dkov\u00e1<\/strong> 6-2, 6-4 in the final. <\/p>\n\n<p>Eala achieved her first singles Grand Slam at <strong>Flushing Meadows<\/strong> after having won two other doubles titles in previous years. In 2020, she caused a major upset by winning the <strong>Australian Open<\/strong> at just 14 years old alongside Indonesian <strong>Priska Madelyn Nugroho<\/strong> , and the following year she reinforced her positive results by winning <strong>Roland Garros alongside Oksana Selekhmeteva,<\/strong> an edition in which she also reached the semifinals of the singles draw. <\/p>\n\n<p>Alexandra Eala, who once reached number 2 in the world on the Junior circuit, has already received invitations to participate in both the <strong>Miami Open and the Mutua Madrid Open<\/strong> qualifiers. The young Filipina dazzled the world when she won her first professional title at just 15 years old at the <strong>ITF tournament<\/strong> held at her &#8220;home,&#8221; the Rafa Nadal Academy.
