Sergi Hoyas repeats his triumph in the Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander after being crowned in the Masters held at the Academy

The young tennis player Sergi Hoyas has been proclaimed the champion of the Mallorca Masters of the Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander 2025 after defeating Nicolás Aguirre in the grand final of the Under-12 boys’ category by a double 6-3.

In his first year of training at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, Sergi had already stood out by claiming victory in the Rafa Nadal Tour by Santander event in Gran Canaria and by finishing as runner-up in the Spanish Under-12 Championship, demonstrating great progress and competitive maturity that establish him as one of the most promising young talents in Spanish tennis.

Hoyas, who arrived at the Masters as the fifth seed with 560 points, defeated Izan Jiménez (6-0, 6-0) and Maxime Belloy (7-6(3), 6-2) before playing the grand final.

The other winners were José Luis Vega (Boys’ Under-14) and Álex Galindo (Boys’ Under-16), while in the girls’ category, Paula Cuevas (Under-12), Shiori García (Under-14) and Olivia Pionsot (Under-16) were victorious.

This triumph of Hoyas, achieved in the Academy’s facilities in Manacor, is a well-deserved reward for the effort, perseverance, and daily work that Sergi carries out with his technical team.
