At Flushing Meadows, Munar reached the round of 16 for the first time in the last four of the 2025 Grand Slams and this week he is ranked number 37 in the world, the best ATP ranking of his career .

The tennis player from Santanyí, who has been training at the Rafa Nadal Academy since 2017, praised what is undoubtedly the best season of his career, having reached the round of 16 at the US Open, the third round at Wimbledon, the semi-finals in Dallas, the quarter-finals in Winston-Salem, and the round of 16 at the Masters 1000 in Rome, among other great results.

Munar considers maturity to be the key to success this year: “Yes, it’s been a very positive season. I’m feeling very good. I think I’ve improved a lot in terms of tennis. In the end, the maturity of being 28 years old and having been on the tour for so many years, well, all of that is gradually coming together, and I feel like a better tennis player all the time, so I’m very happy with what I’ve been doing.”

The tennis player appreciates the work of his entire team and wants more: “I think it was a very good job by everyone involved, and let’s see if we can go for more.”

Jaume Munar’s results have not gone unnoticed and the Majorcan tennis player is part of the Spanish team that will face Denmark in the second round of the 2025 Davis Cup Qualifiers, a tie that will take place next weekend (September 13 and 14) in Marbella,
