The Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by Playtomic will bring its inaugural U.S. edition to a close from August 14–16 with the final stop of the circuit at Reserve Hudson Yards, one of New York City’s premier padel clubs.

Over three days, a total of 72 players across 36 teams will compete in three different categories. Friday and Saturday will be dedicated to the group stage, while the top teams from each division will advance to Sunday’s finals, where the champions of this final event will be decided, bringing the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour on US soil to a close.
The decisive day will kick off on Sunday at 4:00 PM and is designed as a true celebration of padel. In addition to the finals, attendees can enjoy various brand activations, live DJ music, food and beverage service, and an atmosphere designed to turn the event into an experience that transcends competition.
The goal is to offer a proposal that combines sport, entertainment, and networking in a premium environment like Reserve Hudson Yards, a club that has become one of the major drivers of padel’s growth in the United States.
With this weekend format, both participants and guests can enjoy a complete experience centered around padel and the values represented by the Rafa Nadal Academy, reinforcing the circuit’s commitment to offering much more than just a sports competition.
Following successful stops in Miami and Texas, the circuit, which has brought together hundreds of amateur players, will conclude its US debut, consolidating a project that continues to grow internationally.
The circuit’s arrival in the United States—the sixth country it has reached following its rollout in Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany, and the United Kingdom—marks a new milestone in the Rafa Nadal Academy’s internationalization strategy. After its success in Spain and subsequent growth in Europe, the tour has taken another step forward by bringing its amateur competition, sport, and social experience to one of the world’s most promising padel markets.
Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Manager of the Rafa Nadal Academy, speaks very highly of this first edition of the circuit in the United States:
“We are very pleased with the reception the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour has received in the United States during this first year. We have seen the enormous interest in padel and the excitement with which players have welcomed this project at each of the venues. Ending the circuit at a setting like Reserve Hudson Yards in New York is the best way to close an edition that represents a very important step in our internationalization strategy. Our goal is to continue bringing the Rafa Nadal Academy experience and the values of sport to new markets, creating a community of players who enjoy padel both on and off the court.”
The project’s international expansion to the United States has been made possible thanks to the support of Playtomic, the circuit’s main partner and the world’s leading app for racket sports players and clubs, whose technology continues to drive the global growth of padel. Additionally, the tour is supported by Babolat, a strategic partner of the tournament and one of the leading padel brands internationally, which supports the circuit by providing sports equipment and prizes for participants.
