The Rafa Nadal Academy and Martita Ortega are once again giving smiles for Christmas.

The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar and the Rafa Nadal Club have once again joined Martita Ortega’s “Give the Gift of Smiles” initiative with the aim of distributing as many new toys as possible to the children who will be hospitalized during the upcoming Christmas season.

The toys will be distributed at Manacor Hospital, Quirónsalud Palmaplanas Hospital, and Rotger Quirónsalud Clinic.

“Last year, thanks to the good relationship we have with Martita at the academy, the opportunity arose to join her campaign, which is always so well received in the Community of Madrid. Thanks to the collaboration of the school’s families, the children and staff at the academy, and the members of the Rafa Nadal Club, we were able to collect hundreds of new toys. I hope that more people will join this wonderful initiative this year,” said Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Manager of the Rafa Nadal Academy.

Martita Ortega, part of the Rafa Nadal Academy team at the Hexagon Cup, wanted to send this message: “We’ve been running this initiative for seven years now, and it gives me great joy to see how the goals it was born with are being surpassed year after year. In 2023, I was thrilled that the “Give Smiles” initiative was being held outside of Madrid for the first time thanks to the Rafa Nadal Academy, and this second year I’m sure even more people will join in, helping and collaborating selflessly and in solidarity. Giving a toy is only a small gesture, a few seconds of our lives, but we can make many children immensely happy during these beautiful, yet difficult, times for them. That’s all I ask of Christmas: that these children forget their problems for a while.”

The NEW toy collection points will be located at both the Rafa Nadal Club fitness center and the Rafa Nadal School until December 16.
