Martín Landaluce has added a second ATP Challenger trophy to his résumé after being crowned champion in Orléans. The 19-year-old, a product of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, defeated the tournament’s top seed, Belgian player Raphael Collignon, in the final, coming from behind after dropping the opening set (6-7(6), 6-2, 6-3).

The Orléans title marks Landaluce’s first of the year and the second of his career, following his triumph in Olbia, Italy, nearly a year ago. It comes after a season in which he reached three semifinals—in Canberra, Prague, and Nottingham—along with quarterfinal runs in Ilkley and Saint Tropez.

This victory on French soil also boosts Landaluce three spots up the ATP rankings to No. 136, placing him within touching distance of his career-high ranking of No. 133, achieved last February.

Other highlights of Martín Landaluce’s 2025 season include a second-round appearance at the Cincinnati Masters 1000, his main-draw debut at the Australian Open—the first Grand Slam of the year—and his first call-up to Spain’s Davis Cup team in the Qualifiers tie against Switzerland (1-3).
