The Rafa Nadal Academy will celebrate the graduation ceremony of the tenth class of Rafa Nadal School students next Tuesday, June 9. A total of 47 students will conclude their academic journey in a very special event that will feature Rafa Nadal and former Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic, the class’s guest of honor.

Ivanovic, 2008 Roland Garros champion, former world No. 1, and winner of 15 WTA Tour titles, joins a list of sports legends who have accompanied the Academy’s students on one of the most important days of their academic careers. In previous editions, figures such as Toni Kroos, Pau Gasol, David Ferrer, Ona Carbonell, Ricky Rubio, Iga Swiatek, and Carlos Moyá served as class patrons. In 2020, Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova participated remotely in the ceremony.
The 47 graduates thus complete a training stage developed at the Rafa Nadal School, an Anglo-American international school located within the Rafa Nadal Academy that offers education to students aged 3 to 18. Although the project was born with the aim of allowing Academy players to combine their sports development with academic training, Rafa Nadal wanted from the outset to open its doors to all young people in Mallorca, regardless of whether they played tennis or not.

The Rafa Nadal School features modern academic, sports, and technological facilities designed to offer a high-quality learning environment. Its educational model combines academic excellence with personal development, fostering values such as effort, discipline, respect, and teamwork.
One of the Academy’s main objectives is to prepare its students to access universities in the United States and other countries worldwide, either through sports or academic scholarships. Thanks to this comprehensive approach, numerous students have been able to continue their higher education at some of the most prestigious international institutions.
The ceremony will celebrate the effort and achievements of a graduating class that concludes a fundamental stage of their education and now faces new academic and professional challenges with the support of the education and values acquired during their time at the Rafa Nadal Academy.
