The Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by Playtomic heads back to the United States this week with the second tournament of the circuit on North American soil. From April 24 to 26, the facilities of Padel 39 in Austin will host an event that further strengthens the growth of the championship in one of the most promising markets for padel.

Following the successful launch held last March in Miami, where 50 pairs took part in the opening stop of the U.S. calendar, the circuit now arrives in Texas with the aim of continuing to establish its presence in North America and offering a unique experience to amateur players of all levels.
Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Manager of the Rafa Nadal Academy, highlighted the importance of continuing to grow in the United States: “We are very excited about the response the circuit is receiving in the United States. After the fantastic atmosphere we experienced in Miami, arriving now in Austin represents another step in our international expansion. We want to continue bringing the Rafa Nadal Academy experience and the values of sport to new players and new cities with great potential for padel.”
In addition to the amateur competition, the event will feature an exciting exhibition match to celebrate the arrival of the circuit in Texas. The match will pit Martin Stiegwardt and Rodrigo Banzer against Will Agritelley and Carlos García, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy high-level live padel.

The tournament will maintain the essence that has turned the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour into an international benchmark: category-based competition, professional organization, exclusive prizes, Welcome Packs, and an atmosphere designed to enjoy padel both on and off the court.
Austin’s inclusion in the calendar reflects the strong growth the sport is experiencing in the United States, as well as the circuit’s commitment to establishing itself in strategic cities with increasingly active sporting communities.
After this Texas stop, the U.S. calendar will continue with another event in Miami from May 8 to 10, before closing the season with a grand final in New York City, in the heart of Manhattan.
The expansion in the United States, carried out in partnership with Playtomic, the world’s leading app for racket sports players and clubs, is part of the circuit’s global growth. In 2026, it will also visit cities in Spain and Italy before culminating with the grand international final in Manacor, home of the Rafa Nadal Academy.
