Mallorca has put the finishing touch to the second edition of the Rafa Nadal Academy Pádel Tour by The Adecco Group, the amateur circuit that in 2025 has brought together almost 2,000 players and has established itself as one of the most attractive and complete amateur padel proposals.

The final event held at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar featured 215 players from teams from all parts of the peninsula, as well as from Italy and Switzerland, and combined competition, leisure and a unique atmosphere that has already become a hallmark of the Tour in these first two editions.
One of the most emotional moments of the weekend was the tribute received by Carolina Navarro, who recently retired from professional padel after a successful sports career. In the event, held in the new indoor courts of the Academy, the player from Malaga, an international reference in padel, received the affection of all the participants and Maribel Nadal, deputy general director of the Rafa Nadal Academy, who recognized her exemplary career and her contribution to the development of padel.
Navarro herself has praised the Rafa Nadal Pádel Tour by The Adecco Group and especially the Mallorca event. “Every year you outdo yourselves. An incredible atmosphere, with people coming from outside Spain. The new facilities of the Academy, these indoor courts have been great and then the ‘tardeo’. I loved it and next year I’ll be here again.”

The closing in Manacor concludes a tour that this year has taken the circuit to Santander, Madrid, Barcelona, Estepona, Seville, Valencia and Gijón. In parallel, the Rafa Nadal Pádel Tour by The Adecco Group began its international expansion with a Tour that has toured six other cities in Italy (Rome, Turin, Perugia, Bari, Bergamo and Florence), both circuits converging in the grand final.

The team format of the circuit allows each participating team to be composed of a minimum of six players divided into three pairs per round, guaranteeing a minimum of two matches. This dynamic has contributed to generating a collective, dynamic and highly valued experience for the participants.
Maribel Nadal, deputy general director of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, assessed the evolution of the circuit as follows: “The reception by the players of the first edition was incredible and in this one the expectations have been exceeded. Definitely the team format has been a success and being able to combine sport and leisure has provided us with a unique atmosphere in each of the events of both circuits. We are already working on the third edition to incorporate new features that will consolidate it as one of the benchmark circuits in amateur padel and, given the demand from many clubs and countries, we are also considering continuing with the internationalization”.
Known for its prestige in training young tennis players since its opening in 2016, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has reinforced its commitment to padel in recent years. The complex currently has 19 padel courts (9 outdoor and 10 indoor), a state-of-the-art fitness center, health and wellness spaces, a wide range of restaurants and a modern residence. A unique environment that makes the Manacor campus a benchmark for padel practice as well.
With the organization of the Rafa Nadal Academy Pádel Tour by The Adecco Group, the Academy reaffirms its commitment to spread its methodology, values and DNA in the field of amateur padel through an innovative circuit that is here to stay.
