The Rafa Nadal Academy Connects Mallorca and Cairo with an Innovative Educational and Sports Project

The Rafa Nadal Academy continues to expand its global footprint and consolidate its international network of high-performance centers. During the month of October, the Academy team, led by Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Manager, led the expedition that visited the Rafa Nadal Tennis Programme in Uppingham Cairo, one of the most recent projects within the institution’s international expansion. Amalia Riera, Director of International Projects Operations, and Antonio Arenas, Director of Communication, were also present.

During the visit, the team had the opportunity to see firsthand the work led by Tomás Prieto, Head Coach of the center, as well as to tour facilities that stand out for their quality and high-performance approach. The professionalism of the technical team and the remarkable progress of the young players left a great impression on the Mallorcan delegation.

“It was a very special visit. We are always excited to see how the same values that we promote at the Rafa Nadal Academy are breathed into the international centers. The facilities are spectacular and Tomás and the whole team are doing a great job,” said Maribel Nadal herself.

This meeting, which was hosted primarily by Dr. Tamer Tammam, a member of the school’s board, and Noha Saad, Executive Board Member of New Era Education, also served to strengthen the collaboration between the Rafa Nadal Academy and the Cairo program, ensuring that all students continue to receive the same training methodology and comprehensive education that defines the Academy in Mallorca.

The Rafa Nadal Tennis Programme of Uppingham Cairo is part of the international network of centers linked to the Rafa Nadal Academy, whose expansion has continued to grow in recent years.

Both this program and the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center were created as a complementary line to the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar in Mallorca. In addition to Egypt, the international network of the Rafa Nadal Academy already has centers in Kuwait, Costa Mujeres (Mexico), Sani (Greece), Hong Kong, Marbella, and Punta Cana.
