The IX Rafa Nadal Academy Urban race will donate its proceeds to ELA Balears

The IX edition of the Rafa Nadal Academy Urban Race will be held in Manacor on December 26. This event is a well-established fixture in the Christmas sports calendar and, once again, maintains its charitable spirit.

This year, all proceeds raised will go to the ELA Balears association, an organization that works to improve the quality of life for people affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and their families.

The race, which will once again bring together hundreds of participants of all ages, will feature three categories: 6 km, 11 km, and the Urban Race Kids, with distances adapted to each children’s age group. The start and finish will be at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar facilities, and the route will run entirely through the streets of Manacor.

Participants in the popular race can sign up through the website enabled at Elitechip, and the first 500 to pick up their bib number will receive a commemorative event t-shirt.

Maribel Nadal, Deputy General Director of the academy, invites you to participate in this charitable event: “For the Academy, the race is one of the most special days of the year. Seeing so many families together doing sports on special dates and showing their most supportive side. We are calling for the largest number of runners to participate and contribute to those with ALS and their families.”

The ninth edition of the charity race will be sponsored by Movistar, Cantabria Labs, Quirónsalud, and NDL. The collaborators for the race will be MET, Esports Consell, RCD Mallorca, Coca-Cola, Leo, Sport Shop, Müller, Palma Aquarium, Ravanetto, Fruites i Verdures Es Moya, Palma Jump, Hipercentro, Grupo Aficine, Manacor Comarcal, Quely, and Mi Pequeña Fábrica.

The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar reaffirms its social commitment and its desire to support charitable causes through sports with this event. Donations can be made to ELA Balears during registration and on the day of the event.
