The favorites will fight for the title in the Enrique Esteire Open at the Rafa Nadal Academy

Six players from the world’s top 10 wheelchair tennis players have gathered in Mallorca to compete for the Enrique Esteire Open title, the third edition of which is being held at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar.

Six players currently in the ITF Top 10 are among the participants: Gustavo Fernández (Argentina) and Gordon Reid (Great Britain) lead the men’s field, accompanied by Ji Zhengxu and Daniel Caverzaschi, the main Spanish player and medalist in Paris 2024.
In the women’s category, Japan’s Yui Kamiji and the Netherlands’ Aniek Van Koot lead the field, along with other top international players.
All of them have reached the final rounds and will decide the winner of the trophy in the next 48 hours, where they will play both singles and doubles matches.
The third day will open with the duel between Fernandez and Caverzaschi, followed by Zhengxu and Reid on the other side of the draw.
The Spaniard and the Chinese will also face the decisive match in the doubles category, where they will face Frederic Cattaneo and Alwande Shikosana.
Meanwhile, the women’s final will pit Yui Kamiji and Aniek Van Koot, who eliminated Zhu Zhenzhen and Guo Luoyao in the semifinals.
