After six editions establishing itself as a prestigious event on the ATP Challenger Tour, the Rafa Nadal Open by Movistar will hold its seventh edition from August 25-31.

Rafa Nadal himself, the main driving force behind the event, has expressed his satisfaction with one of the most important events held annually at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar. “The truth is, I’m very happy. Incredible tennis players like Andy Murray and Marin Cilic have played here over the years, and it’s a great satisfaction to see all the players leave feeling very happy and grateful. I think the crowd has responded very well from the first year, and seeing the court packed shows that the event is a success both on a sporting and social level, thanks to all the activities organized around the tournament. All of us here and part of the academy are excited about this week because it’s the tournament where we welcome the best players, and we try to live up to expectations to put on a high-level tournament. The players always leave happy, and this is very important for us and gives us energy and enthusiasm to continue growing.”
Once again this year, the thousands of fans who will gather in the stands of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar will have the opportunity to see top players from the professional circuit and promising talents destined to become part of the world tennis elite live in Manacor.
Big stars like four-time Grand Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz, former world number 1 Andy Murray, and Spanish tennis icons like Fernando Verdasco and Pablo Andújar already know what it’s like to compete in the Rafa Nadal Open by Movistar , an event rated by players as one of the best on the ATP Challenger Tour. In the seventh edition, the tennis players will seek to join a list of winners that already includes Australian Bernard Tomic (2018), Finnish Emil Ruusuvuori (2019), Slovakian Luckas Lacko (2021), Italian Luca Nardi (2022), Serbian Hamad Medjedovic (2023) and Croatian Duje Ajduković (2024).
The Rafa Nadal Open by Movistar has already established itself as one of Mallorca’s summer events, attracting up to 10,000 spectators each year. In addition to the matches, fans can enjoy a wide range of entertainment, music, and cuisine for all ages and audiences.
MOVISTAR , the tournament’s main sponsor, will also provide television coverage of the event through Movistar Plus sports channels. This synergy amplifies and consolidates Movistar’s sponsorship of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar since 2016, a leading sports center where young tennis players from around the world receive their academic and professional training and where world-class competitions are held.
As in the six previous editions, tournament tickets will be free and fans can download them through the website www.rafanadalopen.com . Likewise, all fans who download their tickets will be able to visit the Rafa Nadal Museum for just 10 euros.
